Apple Crumble

APPLE CRUMBLE
serving size: 6 to 8 people
time: 1 hr

INGREDIENTS - Apples
10 Granny Smith Apples
100gm Brown sugar / unrefined golden caster sugar
3 tbsp Water

INGREDIENTS - Crumbles
200gm Chilled butter
300gm Plain flour
1/2 tsp Ground cinnamon (optional)
150gm Demerara sugar / brown sugar
Pinch salt


METHOD
1. Cut apples into cubes
2. Lightly toss with brown sugar
3. Pile into a lightly buttered ovenproof dish
4. Spoon over water
5. Cut butter into small cubes
6. Rub lightly into shifted flour with fingertips
7. Stir in sugar, cinnamon
8. Spread over apple's evenly
9. Bake for 40 to 50 mins - 180c
10. Serve with ice cream
